YOUR TRAINEESHIP

Intensive training, training-on-the-job, soft skills training and coaching. These are the four most important elements of the yakha traineeship.  

Once the selection process has been successfully completed, the traineeship begins. This consists of a training phase (usually 2 to 3 months) and a following training-on-the-job (12 months). All this to give you the chance to get your new dream job in IT! 

  • Learning, learning, learning – in this intensive phase you will build up your foundational knowledge 
  • Social interaction with the other trainees in your small group   
  • Soft skills training & individual coaching  

As soon as we are all confident in and comfortable with each other, we get started right away: Together, we develop your IT skills!  

During the intensive phase, which typically lasts two to three months, you will learn all the basics of the IT skills that are relevant for your future position, as well as the first practical applications.  

The learning takes place in a small group with other trainees.  

In addition to IT theory (and a few practical application exercises), we support your development with soft skills training (e.g.,communication, teamwork). In addition, you will always be supported by our team and can rely on the help of our experienced coaches.  

And it also looks good for your wallet: In addition to the opportunity to earn very attractive salaries in the IT industry, the training phase costs you nothing – on the contrary: typically, our trainees also receive financial support for this phase.

” On-the-job” you will learn IT practice from experienced colleagues – directly on-site at our partner company (= your potential future employer). During this time, you will be remunerated according to the BAP collective agreement (plus any industry or above-standard bonuses) with an annual salary of approximately €30,000.  

The learning progress during this time is particularly intensive, because it shapes you into a real IT professional. You and the partner company decide what happens next. The chances of being taken on are usually very, very good at over 90%.
