ABOUT US

yakha forms the bridge between companies with a need for IT professionals and technically savvy personalities who want to take the leap into a new career. Our team supports both the companies in the selection of suitable candidates as well as the  future IT specialists during a typically 14-month development phase. Companies and trainees are always matched in the best possible way.

yakha means “to build” in isiZulu, the language of the South African Zulu

Right from the start, we all have the same goal: mutual success! For the company side, this is breaking out of the grueling struggle for resources in the overexploited IT talent pool; for the talent side it is the liberation from a professional impasse or the fulfillment of the desire to work in IT. We combine the motivation for a new career in IT with the demand for IT specialists. We continuously support both sides through culture-fit matching, intensive IT training, Soft Skills workshops, as well as continuous feedback.

We support companies in identifying specific specialist needs, specifying their requirements for candidates and selecting suitable people. At the same time, we make sure that companies and talented people have good future prospects together. Our projects aim for the long term.

We support companies in identifying specific specialist needs, specifying their requirements for candidates and selecting suitable people. At the same time, we make sure that companies and talented people have good future prospects together. Our projects aim for the long term.

We accompany the IT talents through a very demanding selection process in which we check their suitability for this career change. At the end of the joint project, we want to see satisfied companies and happy talents. It is therefore important to us that we only accept candidates for the traineeship who have a strong affinity for IT and have the courage to make this career change.

As soon as we have found a good match, the typically 14-month traineeship begins. In the first phase, the talents go through a theoretical training in which content specially adapted to the IT needs of the company is conveyed. We pay great attention to the high quality of the trainers, methods and learning materials used. The project can only succeed if the foundation is built consistently and consistently.
The second phase includes the transition from theoretical training to 12-month on-the-job training. The IT talents get to know their new employer, their requirements and their future tasks. At the same time, they become part of their future team and learn to translate their acquired skills from theory into practice.
